The award-winning Arts Center of Coastal Carolina is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that operates 360 days a year. The Arts Center owns and operates a 45,000-square-foot facility located on a 4.6 - acre property on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. For more than 24 years, the Arts Center has produced year-round Equity theatre while presenting jazz, contemporary music, dance performances, visual arts exhibitions as well as, producing three free Community Festivals, and programming extensive education services. Our facility includes a 349 seat main stage theater, a 2,200 sf gallery home to the Hilton Head Art League, a black box theater /rehearsal hall, a board/community room, a reception parlor, and a fully equipped art studio /classroom. All of these spaces support hundreds of community arts programs and activities attended by more than 62,000 patrons throughout the entire Lowcountry region. The Arts Center is the state’s third largest arts organization and was named the Governor’s Elizabeth Verner Award winner as the state’s Best Arts Organization. Business and public support helps us to fulfill our mission, ''to enrich and benefit the community through the arts.''
