Decorating Den Interiors opens franchise in Bluffton
Easton, Md. ---- Decorating Den Interiors, North America’s leading in-home decorating service and largest home furnishings and interior design franchise company, announced that Saudah Muhammad has been selected to open a franchise to serve the Bluffton area.  She joins nearly 300 other franchise owners throughout the U.S. and Canada.
“We are very pleased to add Saudah to our interior decorating family,” said James S. Bugg, Jr., president and chief executive officer of the Easton, Md.-based company.  “I am especially pleased that she was able to benefit from our participation in the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program, which means a reduced investment for veterans who meet the requirements.” Muhammad was a nurse in the Air Force for 17 years, she retired as a Major. Her husband, John, who plans to work with her in the franchise, is also a retired Air Force veteran.
Muhammad became a Decorating Den Interiors franchise owner after progressing through an extensive qualifying process and completing the company’s Professional Decorating and Sales School along with other pre-business opening training.
“I have decorated many of my own homes and frequently was asked to help friends with theirs,” said Muhammad.  “I especially enjoyed seeing the looks on the faces when we were done.”
“Being a Decorating Den Interiors owner, I have a full-service design business with direct relationships with more than 130 suppliers in our LIVV Home Collection™ of fine furniture, custom window treatments, wall and floor coverings, accessories, lighting and even closet systems,” she explained. “I am excited to become part of this wonderful organization and eager to help homeowners create more beautiful rooms for their enjoyment.”
“We take samples directly to the client’s home or office, provide complimentary design services, and personally see projects through to completion,” Muhammad says. “Our extensive choices enable us to work within a wide range of budgets and lifestyles.”
Saudah and John invite you to celebrate their new business at their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony July 29th at 3:00pm at the Hampton Hall Club with the Greater Bluffton Chamber.
