    LAST CALL FOR MAYFEST VENDORS

BLUFFTON, S.C. - The Rotary Club of Bluffton is still accepting vendor registrations for the 40th annual Mayfest, but the deadline is approaching so interested parties should register soon. Mayfest, also known as the Bluffton Village Festival, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 12 in Old Town Bluffton.

The final deadline for vendor applications is April 27, 2017. Vendors for this event include arts and crafts, food vendors, churches and non-profits.

All vendors can submit their applications directly online. To register please go to www.blufftonmayfest.com  and click on the “Forms” tab. Paper applications are available upon request only by emailing blufftonmayfest@gmail.com.

Payment can be made through the website via PayPal or sent by mail.

Food vendors must submit a copy of a liability insurance certificate to blufftonmayfest@gmail.com or by mail.

Vendors will be notified upon acceptance of their application. Please ensure the correct email address is included, as notifications will be sent via email.

What type of Business License or Permit does a Vendor Need?

All vendors with a Town of Bluffton address will be required to have an annual Town of Bluffton Business License. Business license applications should be submitted directly to the Town of Bluffton. They must be filed (with the Town of Bluffton) no less than 30 days prior to the Festival. For more information, please visit: http://www.townofbluffton.sc.gov/code-of-ordinances.

Vendors with addresses outside of Bluffton or from out of state have two options:
1.)    They can choose to pay a One-Day Special Event Permit fee ($10) that should be submitted to the Bluffton Rotary Club in addition to the vendor application fee on the Mayfest website.
2.)    They can choose to apply for a one-year, regular business license ($30) from the Town of Bluffton. This option is ideal if they will be participating in 3 events in Bluffton within the year. The vendor will be required to apply for this license directly with the Town.

Again this year, the Bluffton Rotary Club would also like to ask the community for help carrying out the event. If you would be interested in lending a hand in support of this Bluffton tradition, please fill out a form on the “Volunteers” tab of the website.
