                                                                              Bluffton Safety Day
     
    With warm temperatures and the summer months quickly approaching, more and more boaters will be enjoying Bluffton’s scenic waterways. In order to ensure everyone’s safety, the Town of Bluffton Police Department and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is partnering with local agencies for the second annual Bluffton Safety Day.
     
    Free boat inspections, free child car seat checks, collection of old boat flares, food, and fun will be available at the event on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. at Oyster Factory Park.
     
    The Bluffton Police Department, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Bluffton Township Fire District are all taking part in this event to ensure the public knows the proper steps in staying safe this summer.
