DESCRIPTION:The Heyward House Museum & Welcome Center invites all Bluffton area residents to attend our first Historic Bluffton Town Party in celebration of our recently completed outdoor venue space\, Common Ground & The HEART (History\, Arts\, Education for Residents and Tourism) Pavilion. The event will be held on Saturday\, February 16th from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Heyward House Museum & Welcome Center. The celebration will feature a short dedication and ribbon-cutting\, live entertainment from Southern Gratitude (a local 6-pc. Acoustic Americana Band)\, free mini-tours of the Heyward House Museum\, and a book-signing and historical re-enactment by local author\, Kim Poovey. The Heyward House will provide free water\, soft drinks\, and marshmallows for roasting. Available for purchase we will offer Bluffton BBQ sliders & sides and boiled peanuts from South Carolina Boiled Peanut Company.
