Curated by Maria Hooper of EMROSE projects\, the exhibition explores memory\, place\, and identity through innovative uses of materiality\, pattern\, and form. The opening reception will be held on Thursday\, February 6\, 2025\, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Coastal Lighting Studio\, 53 Persimmon St\, Suite 101\, Bluffton\, SC. The exhibition will remain open by appointment from February 7 through April 30\, 2025.\n\nKeith Crowley?s art captures the geometry and rhythm of suburban architecture\, transforming fleeting moments of light and shadow into richly textured paintings that evoke the emotional resonance of home. Emma Barnes draws from quilt patterns and southern traditions to create layered works that blend oil paint\, plaster\, and photographic imagery. Crowley earned his MFA in Painting from SCAD.\n\nEmma Barnes (Beaufort\, SC) integrates southern traditions with contemporary practices\, creating art that reflects layered memories and landscapes.
