The acquisition was among more than 60 that would make Synovus one of the largest financial institutions in the Southeast\, with $31 billion in assets and a presence in Georgia\, Florida\, Alabama\, Tennessee\, and South Carolina.\n\n \n\nNBSC serves 15 counties in South Carolina through 38 locations\, including 210 Central Avenue in Hilton Head and 3 Belfair Village Drive in Bluffton.
