Join us for a Mobile Mammogram Visit!
**Patient Eligibility Requirements**
- Women should begin mammography screenings at age 40, per American College of Radiology (ACR). Higher-risk individuals may start earlier
- Women aged 35-39 can get a baseline mammogram; confirm insurance eligibility first
- Patients must not be pregnant or nursing, and must not have breast issues such as discharge, lumps, or soreness. Consult your doctor if you have concerns.
- Patient must be able to move independently, navigate stairs, and change into a shoulder gown without assistance
- All patients must have had an in-person visit with their healthcare provider (primary care physician, OBGYN, or family practice) within 18 months
- Women without insurance or with limited coverage may qualify for a free mammogram through SJC Mobile Mammography Program. For more information or to apply, call SJC Mammography Fund Helpline at 912-819-7055.
