  • Show Room Assistant (Bluffton, SC)

    • The management of the customers first impression is of the utmost importance (in the showroom and over the phone) 
    o Answer phones in a polite, professional, and friendly manner by the third ring.
    o Greet Customers in a friendly manner and offer assistance within 30 seconds once they enter the showroom even if they ask for a specific person who is not readily available.
    o Keep the showroom area clean, neat and “retail ready” (no food or drinks should be on or near the front desk or showroom area). 
    o Retrieve messages from the answering service each night or weekend and route to the appropriate person within an hour of opening the office.
    • Manage the Scheduling and Confirmation of Sales Appointments
    o Sales and Installation Appointments are scheduled into Touchpoint program under the respective consultant or installer at time of call.
    o Enter Customer information into the software database. For repeat customers confirm all information is still valid.
    o When appointments are made ask for customers phone and email.  
    o All sales and installation appointments receive a reminder “courtesy” call, email, or text the day before the actual appointment. 
    • Assist the management of customer quotes and invoices
    o Answer any questions about estimate quotes quickly and accurately when a customer visits the showroom after receiving a quote from a design consultant.
    o Customers must receive estimates and pricing on products quickly and easily. 
    o Study and be knowledgeable of products and installations as they are constantly upgraded. 
    o Match and Check all confirmations against installation forms to insure 100% accuracy 
    o Convert quotes to orders promptly when a customer calls or comes into the showroom and deposit is taken.  
    • Manage vendors and suppliers that enter through the showroom
    o Deliveries are inventoried, verified and inspected prior to acceptance and signature. Variances and damages are noted and reported immediately. 
    o Delivery personnel are directed to minimize any loitering in the showroom and instructed not to disturb or inconvenience our prospective customers.

    • 2 Years of verifiable Showroom Consulting experience preferred or;
    • 3 Years of verifiable Front Desk Customer Service experience preferred or;
    • 4 Years of verifiable Customer Service Representative Experience

    • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
    • Microsoft Office Software Experience: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Etc…
