    The Business Developer will be responsible for developing sales opportunities within assigned territories by working with the operations team and building relationships with potential clients. They are responsible for identifying new clients/properties within the parameters of the strategic sales plan, closing new commercial contracts and expanding existing business opportunities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, detailed and has a competitive drive to develop leads and opportunities to close contracts and expand the company’s growth. Duties/Responsibilities: - Develop long-term relationships with current and prospective clients - Establish target properties/clients through market research, canvassing, building relationships and internal lead development. - Prepare and submit proposal packages to clients. - Negotiate contract terms with clients - Ensure a smooth transition from contract execution to operations. - Prepare weekly/monthly updates to management and operations team - Attend networking events, set up meetings with potential clients, and cold call regularly. Required Skills/Abilities: - Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail orientated, organized, excellent time management, ability to meet/exceed sales goals, positive attitude, honest, hardworking and have a team mentality. - Proficient with MS Office Suite and Aspire software - Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills and sales track record. - Ability to plan and execute methods, pitches, and proposals Education and Experience: - BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field preferred but not required - 3-5 years sales experience
