    Event Description:
Please join the Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce with a special re-grand opening of Synovus Bank to commemorate their new name change at their 3 Belfair Village Drive location in Bluffton!

NBSC has begun the process of transitioning to the Synovus brand throughout South Carolina. Signage and other legacy branding at all NBSC branches will be updated with the Synovus name by the end of June. NBSC is the last of 26 non-Synovus branded bank divisions to complete the five-state brand transition, which began in January of this year.
“We’ve been part of Synovus for more than 20 years, and we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built as a community-based and customer-focused bank in Hilton Head Island and Bluffton and throughout South Carolina,” said Tom Henz, market executive, Hilton Head Island. “Adopting the Synovus name while maintaining our local, relationship-centered delivery model will increase awareness of our regional presence, our financial capabilities, and our ability to meet the needs of customers and prospects.”
National Bank of South Carolina was founded in Sumter in 1905 and acquired by Synovus in 1995. The acquisition was among more than 60 that would make Synovus one of the largest financial institutions in the Southeast, with $31 billion in assets and a presence in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
NBSC serves 15 counties in South Carolina through 38 locations, including 210 Central Avenue in Hilton Head and 3 Belfair Village Drive in Bluffton.
