Second Helpings invites Chamber members, community partners, donors, volunteers, and local leaders to join us for a ribbon cutting celebrating the addition of Truck #17 to our food rescue fleet. The new truck will help Second Helpings continue rescuing and distributing food throughout Beaufort, Jasper, and Hampton counties. The event will recognize the donors whose support made the truck possible and highlight the role local businesses and community partners play in helping Second Helpings rescue food, fight hunger, and deliver hope across the Lowcountry. The celebration will include brief remarks, donor recognition, a ceremonial ribbon cutting, photos, and an opportunity to tour the new truck. Donors who helped fund Truck #17 will also take part in a special tradition by signing the inside of the truck before it officially begins serving the community.
