Dr. Mary, a seasoned naturopathic doctor and the visionary founder of Trilera Holistic Care, LLC, brings over 20 years of expertise in natural health consultation. Established in November 2019, Trilera Holistic Care reflects her unwavering commitment to holistic healing, inspired by a lifelong dedication to natural medicine.

Growing up on Chicago’s Southside, Dr. Mary’s health journey began with her mother’s passion for wellness, rooted in her catering business. Her belief in holistic healing was strengthened when she helped her son overcome asthma as a child and supported her mother’s recovery from arthritis and hyperthyroidism. Today, both her son and 93-year-old mother thrive without pharmaceuticals. Dr. Mary empowers clients through her intuitive and practical teaching style, inspiring self-awareness and sustainable wellness practices.

Dr. Mary’s formal training started with earning her nursing degree in high school, becoming a licensed practical nurse in 1989. In 1994, she began training in natural health with Dr. Llaila Afrika in Hampton, Virginia. Graduating Summa Cum Laudefrom the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1997, she went on to earn a Doctorate in Naturopathic Health from Trinity College of Natural Health in 2013, becoming a Certified Natural Health Practitioner while pursuing a distinguished 30-year military career.

In 2011, Dr. Mary authored My Little Green Book, a guide for health-conscious shoppers on making nutritious choices across all dietary needs. Her extensive credentials include GEMA Licensed Ecclesiastical Holistic Practitioner, Certified Homeopathic Practitioner, Digestive Health Professional, Certified Biblical Coach, and Board-Certified Natural Wellness Professional, among others.

Dr. Mary is actively involved in her community, serving as a Bluffton Town Ambassador, former President of the local Holistic Chambers of Commerce, and an active Chamber of Commerce member. She also holds key leadership roles as a Life University Board Trustee, Lowcountry Legal Volunteers Board Trustee, Piedmont Hemp Board Advisor, Behind the Leaf Board Advisor (a nonprofit for women in business), and Primary Naturopathic Consultant for Cayenne Wellness Center.
