About Us

Hi, we are Ann and Bobby Pinelli, and we are excited to bring Kona Ice back to Hilton Head Island and the Lowcountry. We moved here 15 years from Chicago. Ann has been teaching for 14 years at one of the local schools and Bobby has been a firefighter/paramedic for 15 years in the area. We enjoy giving back the community we live and work in any way we can. We are truly a family business. Our four children enjoy taking turns working the truck with Bobby at local events. Along with our children, his parents and brothers and sister help out.

So treat your taste buds to the most amazingly fine, flavored shaved ice this side of the islands. The Kona Ice experience will amplify any event! From our steel drum music to the signature Flavorwave(TM) where guests can flavor their own shaved ice, we guarantee to bring the fun and laughter.

Whether indoors or outdoors, we handle a whole variety of events including schools, corporations, daycares, summer programs, youth sports, picnics, weddings, and major sporting events, festivals and so much more!!!
