The majority of his career was in Sales and Marketing functions and leadership roles.
Moved with his wife Kim to the Belfair community in 2010.
Bob has always combined his love of golf and his desire to volunteer and contribute.
- Bob served on various committees within Belfair and 3 years on the POA board
-2019 Tournament Chair for the PGA Professional Championship hosted at Belfair.
-2021 Recruited committee chairs to support the Congaree Golf Club with the PGA Palmetto Championship
- Has volunteered for 10 years as a walking scorer at the RBC Heritage tournament
-Tournament Director for 10 years of the Hospital Auxiliary golf tournament and Board member.
The Hospital Auxiliary golf tournament is in its 39th year has raised over $1.0 million for the hospital auxiliary’s programs, including scholarships for nursing students attending the University of South Carolina Beaufort and the Technical College of the Lowcountry.
In 2021 Bob Co-founded The South Carolina Nurse Retention Initiative (SCNRI) to address the nurse shortage by attracting and retaining recent nurse graduates to work in primary Health care in Beaufort , Jasper and Hampton counties.
In 4.0 years the SCNRI has raised over $1.0 Million and added 79 nurses to the retention program.
The addition of nurses to the Workforce directly impacts the health and wellness of the Low Country residents.
The Hospital Auxiliary scholarship programs help nurses enter the nurse profession and the SCNRI incentivizes, supports and Thanks them for living live and practicing in our local communities.
