MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field appropriate to the work of the position and three years of experience in the occupation, or a related field or work area or an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to the gain above. Or 7 years of Accounting Experience. Certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is highly desirable. Skill to supervise employees in accomplishment of work. Knowledge of general fund, revolving, and/or non-appropriated fund accounting principles and procedures. Ability to present complex financial matters to other subject matter experts as well as non-financial personnel. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
